Our Story

A Yachta Fun was inspired by our love for boating, relaxing days at the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, and creating unforgettable memories with family — including our favorite first mate, our yacht dog. We wanted to create a place where guests could experience the same feeling of fun, comfort, and connection that we enjoy every time we escape to Buckeye Lake.  From evenings in the hot tub to mornings by the water with your furry friends, A Yachta Fun is designed to be a place where families, friends, and pets can unwind, reconnect, and make lasting memories together.

At A Yachta Fun, our mission is simple: bring together families, friends, and furry crew members for a lake getaway filled with laughter, relaxation, and memories you’ll still be talking about long after checkout. We created A Yachta Fun to feel less like a rental and more like your fun lake house — the kind of place where everyone kicks off their shoes, grabs a drink, and instantly relaxes. Pets are always part of the crew here because, let’s be honest… they’re usually better behaved than the adults. Alexa even has a special skill that might make you laugh when you ask her to “pull your finger!” We can’t promise maturity during your stay… but we can promise plenty of laughs, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of A Yachta Fun!
